Grok Build 1.0.25 is live on with a public changelog, with quite a few new workflow features, along with an updated and cleaner terminal. For those that work in Grok Build, this update should make things a bit smoother overall.
You can now pause or stop runs the agent launched through /workflow, read full bash output instead of a truncated tail, and get headless prompts that time out cleanly instead of hanging the session.
Pause and Stop Background Runs
The headline control in 1.0.25 is that /workflow can pause and stop background runs the agent started. That matters when a long job is still chewing tokens in the background and you need it held or killed without tearing down the whole Build session.
Full Bash Output in the Pager
The bash pager now shows complete command output instead of a truncated tail. When a build or test dump is long, you can scroll the real log in place rather than guessing from the last few lines or re-running the command just to see what you missed.
Headless Timeouts and Feedback Again
Headless prompts time out cleanly in this build, which is the difference between a stuck waiting session and a failed prompt you can actually recover from. /feedback <text> also sends immediately again, and failures land in Drafts so a bad send does not vanish into a silent error.
Vim, Voice, and Dashboard Polish
Successful hooks stay silent unless they block or fail, so the status line is less noisy when everything is fine. Vim mode gains Shift+J and Shift+K to jump between turns, voice dictation inserts at the cursor instead of dumping text somewhere less useful, and the dashboard actions row (+ New Agent, Open Previous, Worktree) is arrow-key and Enter navigable.
Assorted dock, theme, and session fixes also made it through in this same release.
Safer Auto Mode and MCP Precedence
From 1.0.22 on the same September run, built-in agent tools take precedence over user MCP servers when names collide, which keeps a custom connector from shadowing a core tool by accident.
Auto mode also no longer instantly runs destructive git checkout -- commands, so a wipe of local changes needs a clearer human step than a silent, potentially disastrous checkout.
As of today, 1.0.25 is the latest release on the tracker. Previous releases this week and last week have mostly focused on under-the-hood UX changes and reliability, but this one brings some user-facing control and UI updates to the fore as well.
