How it works
If you click a referral link and complete a qualifying signup or purchase, we may receive a commission from the partner. Using our link does not increase the price you pay solely because of the referral (promotions and taxes are set by the seller).
Where we disclose
On any page that includes a referral or affiliate offer — including our Starlink buying / help page — we state clearly, next to the link, that TheGridFin may earn a commission.
For those technically inclined, we also mark commercial links with rel="sponsored" (and typically nofollow) when published.
Editorial vs commercial
Ordinary news articles and explainers are editorial. Our referral offers live on dedicated commercial pages like the Starlink help page, not inside news copy.
Independence
Commissions do not buy favourable coverage. We aim to keep reporting and buying guidance distinct. Partners do not write or approve our news articles.
Other monetization
Separately, TheGridFin may show advertising (for example via Google AdSense) on eligible pages. Ad settings and exclusions are described in our Privacy Policy. Commercial referral pages should not rely on ads where the offer is the main purpose of the page.
